Albuquerque –

Officers from the Albuquerque Police Department are presently closing streets near Pennsylvania St NE and Constitution Ave NE, Mountain Rd and Pennsylvania St NE and Mountain Rd and Mountain Rd Pl NE for a reported bomb threat. Numerous businesses have also been asked to evacuate, but some have opted to shelter in place.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area.

If we learn more, we will update you.

UPDATE:

After the Bomb Unit provided the all-clear, APD officers departed the area. Businesses were informed that they could resume operations.

  1. That’s refreshing, a bomb threat…all the shootings, structure fires and pedestrians getting run over was getting old. (sarcasm intended). I’m ready to put this dumpster fire of a year to bed!
