A Pontiac Vibe was struck with gun fire on 9/10/2022.
Albuquerque –
On 9/10/2022 around 11:20PM, Albuquerque Police were dispatched to the Montgomery Blvd overpass bridge over I-25 in regards to a shooting victim. When officers arrived they found a Pontiac Vibe in the roadways opposite direction. Inside the vehicle they found a gunshot victim related to an apparent road rage incident. Albuquerque Fire Rescue transported the gunshot victim to UNMH and the condition of the victim is unknown.

A Pontiac Vibe was seen in the eastbound lanes facing westbound on Montgomery Blvd. The car had at least 3 bullet holes in the passenger side doors. On the side the road there was clothes with blood on them from the incident.

It is unclear how the Pontiac Vibe ended up on the wrong side of the road and if there are any suspects outstanding. We will update the story as more information becomes available. This was the second incident involving shots fired at a vehicle. The first one led to Albuquerque’s 122nd homicide earlier in the day.
