Albuquerque –
On Friday, February 28, there was police activity at the apartment complex located in the 12000 block of Montgomery Blvd NE, near the corner of Montgomery Blvd and Shenandoah Pl NE. This is an Albuquerque Police Department officer involved shooting. The suspect involved died at the scene.
The details are limited at this time, but Montgomery is closed at Shenandoah Pl. NE. Additional road closures may occur as the Multi-Agency Task Force is called in to investigate, and crime scene specialists collect evidence.
Reportedly, all officers are okay.
This is a developing story.

At 10:51 AM, the Albuquerque Police Department released a statement which said:
The Multi-Agency Task Force is responding to an officer involved shooting in the Foothills Area Command.
The investigation is taking place at an apartment complex in the area of 12200 Montgomery.
Officers were responding to a call and shots were fired. No officers were injured. An adult male was shot by police and determined to be deceased at the scene.
UPDATE 2:
APD is scheduled to have an update around 12:30 PM. We are hoping to go live from the scene, you can catch us the live-stream on Facebook or our other social media platforms.
Poor reception in the area kept us from going live for the APD presser, but we will post an update soon.

Well since the shooter(s) are APD they should be here in the country legally one would think! That said clearly APD is having a hard time of it lately with this DUI situation.
So maybe it’s a fair question after all to ask about the shooters immigration status
What does their nationality have to do with anything? Oh right, you believe they’re violent because you think they’re hispanic, even when the report mentions no such demographic.
He was my neighbor. Very soft spoken white male in his 60s or 70s.
