Around 3:35 PM, a caller reported a shooting in the area of 125 Eubank Blvd. NE. Officers from the Albuquerque Police Department and Albuquerque Fire Rescue were dispatched to the scene.

Around the same time, a deputy from the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office advised that he was waved down by multiple individuals in the area. Numerous witnesses told the deputy that at least two juveniles fled the scene after the shooting. Shortly after, APD arrived at the listed location.

APD searched for the offenders who fled, and detained two individuals for questioning around 3:57 PM.

We went to the 300 block of Altez, where a neighborhood was rocked with gunfire. Witnesses said they saw two cars in a shootout. We observed glass in the roadway.

It was reported all of the offenders were of juvenile age.

The condition of the person who was shot is unknown. If we learn more, we will update you.
