Albuquerque –
The Albuquerque Police Department’s Fatal Traffic Unit is investigating the death of a man who appears to have been struck by a vehicle in the vicinity of Eubank and Acoma Rd SE.
Police said they received a 911 call at 7:30 AM about an adult male who appeared to be deceased. Upon arrival, the man was pronounced deceased by first responders. APD officers found that the man had visible injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle. APD’s Fatal Traffic Unit is currently investigating the crash.
APD’s PIO Gilbert Gallegos added that “no vehicle was on the scene, and there was evidence of a hit-and-run.”
Officials have not released the man’s identity. If more is released on this incident or investigation, we will update you.
