Albuquerque –

Around 2:50 PM, on April 10th, 2025, the Albuquerque Police Department and Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting in the parking lot of the Walmart located at the 3500 Coors Blvd. SW, which is on the corner of Rio Bravo and Coors.

When law enforcement arrived they found two gunshot victims at the scene. Both were taken to the University of New Mexico Hospital, one with critical and one with non-life threatening injuries. Law enforcement was able to take suspects into custody and were searching for more. The incident is alleged to have started from a road rage incident.

A witness reported seeing one of the injured being loaded into an ambulance, and another person was in the back of a police unit by the Ross Dress for Less. A separate witness reported seeing two individuals apprehended by the police. They observed one person being put into an ambulance with a gunshot wound to the face.

Police have the entire Walmart parking lot blocked off while they conduct their investigation. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.

This is a developing story and we will update the story, if more information becomes available.

    1. Then it’ll spread to Target, Waffle House and Dollar General. Better to just keep a bunch cops posted at the Walmarts so they can contain it as best as possible. Road Ragers get shot, survivors get shot twice.

    2. No! They should start punishing criminals, severely and get them the heck out of here. It’s not Walmart’s fault, it’s the fault of ignorant people, like you.

    1. I agree. The last shooting shouldn’t be justified as self defense. If you never pulled off the interstate to fight it wouldn’t have happened. You escalated the situation so no damn self defense.
