APD Investigates Murder at Home in North Valley

Albuquerque –

APD homicide detectives have started an investigation into a death reported this evening at a home in the 1200 block of La Poblana Rd. N.W., near 12^th St.

Officers were dispatched to the home at 5:30 p.m. after someone called 911 to report a person who was found deceased inside the residence. Officers responded and located an apparent victim of a homicide.

Neighbors have told us the home has been a problem to the area and heavy drug use has been seen at the home.

APD said additional information will be released as it is made available. The investigation is on-going.
