The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that occurred early this morning near Central Ave. NE and Maple St. SE.

At approximately 3:50 AM, APD officers and crews from Albuquerque Fire Rescue Engine 3 and Rescue 3 responded to the listed location for an accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene due to their injuries.
Any additional information will be released as it becomes available from APD.
