Albuquerque –
APD officers are on scene of an officer-involved shooting that occurred today outside of Albuquerque shortly after 4 a.m. on I-40 west of the Rio Puerco.

No officers were injured in the shooting. One person was shot by officers and is being transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The Multi-Agency Task Force is responding to the scene to start an investigation.
