This kid must a been flying at 90+
Awful presumptuous man. Have some sympathy, a young man died.
He most likely caused his own, preventable death.
I knew this kid. He was another son to me. He was wearing a helmet and a backbrace, but that didn’t save him in the end. Our family, along with his family are just devastated. He leaves behind two little girls who were the lights of his life. RIP sweetheart.
I’m sorry to hear that.
Very sorry for your loss. The accident was clearly caused by a car failing to yield and turning in front of him. When someone goes from 40mph (the speed limit) to 0 in an instant, sadly no helmet or gear can save you. He did everything he could to protect himself. It’s a tragedy and it’s too bad so many are so quick to blame the rider, who is deceased and whose family can read these ignorant and heartless statements. Very sad.
