FBI Offers Reward for Man Dressed in Black with Handgun Responsible for Albuquerque Bank Robbery

The FBI and Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who robbed PNC Bank at 10042 Coors Blvd NW, on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at approximately 4:25 pm.  

 

Suspect description: 

  • Race: Black 
  • Height: 6’2” 
  • Weight: 230 lbs 
  • Clothing: Black pants, black shoes, black jacket, black hat 
  • Other: described to have some facial hair 

 

The suspect entered the bank with a black handgun and demanded cash from a teller, who handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the robber. He was observed leaving the bank going northbound. 

  

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.  

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to contact the FBI at (505) 889-1300, or Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at (505) 843-STOP.  

Information about other bank/credit union robbers wanted by the FBI can be found at bankrobbers.fbi.gov.  

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
