Albuquerque –
At approximately 10:00 PM, a vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash occurred at Central Ave and Mesilla St. The caller reported that the pedestrian sustained critical injuries, and the truck involved had fled the scene.

Upon their arrival, officers learned that the pedestrian had died from their injuries.
The Albuquerque Police Department’s Motor Unit is taking over investigation of this fatal vehicle-versus-pedestrian accident.
