Albuquerque –
The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office wishes to update the public on the successful resolution of a critical incident involving a missing juvenile, identified threats, and the swift action taken to prevent potential violence in our community. This information was originally shared on BCSO’s social media pages, ABQRAW is sharing it given that many in the community shared the missing/endangered juvenile alert.
On the morning of December 22, 2024, deputies responded to a report concerning 16-year-old Domynick Lindstrom, who had unexpectedly left his residence, taking with him a stolen firearm, ammunition, and cash. This incident immediately raised concerns due to its potential threat to public safety.
Within hours of the missing person’s report, a significant threat targeting specific members of a local church linked to Lindstrom surfaced. The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, in close coordination with the Albuquerque Police Department and security teams from a few local churches, took immediate steps to ensure the safety of their congregations. Out of an abundance of caution, certain church services were canceled, and officers were deployed to protect individuals directly threatened in Lindstrom’s online posts.
By midday, our Criminal Investigations Division (CID), utilizing critical online intelligence and collaborating with federal agencies, traced Lindstrom to a location in Albuquerque. By late afternoon, with the assistance of undercover personnel, Lindstrom and two adults, 18-year-old Manuel Lopez and 19-year-old Ricardo Lopez-Murillo, were apprehended without incident. The adults were identified as accomplices in Lindstrom’s planned actions and were also taken into custody. Domynick Lindstrom faces charges related to larceny and making shooting threats, reflecting the serious nature of his actions. The accompanying adults are charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
This incident underscores the importance of community vigilance and the effectiveness of rapid law enforcement response. We commend our deputies, detectives, and law enforcement partners for their dedication and swift action, which undoubtedly maintained the peace and safety of our community.
Sheriff John Allen stated, “This case highlights the critical need for community awareness and the effectiveness of our investigative units. I am incredibly proud of our team’s dedication and the seamless collaboration between agencies. We remain committed to the safety of all Bernalillo County residents and will continue to respond with urgency to any threat to our community.”

Great job BCSO!
Great job Sheriff Allen.
Good thing this was worked primarily by BCSO and not APD with the Little Chief.
I still don’t understand why we don’t combine those 2 police forces under the county government.
