Albuquerque –
At 9:05AM, deputies from the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a traffic accident with minor injuries near 4th and Golden Meadows. Upon arrival, deputies determined that a slow-moving vehicle had reportedly struck a child pedestrian. This accident occurred near a school, so the vehicle that hit the child was purportedly traveling at a reduced speed due to the school zone.
Emergency responders transported the child to a local area hospital, but early indications are that the child is okay.
Drivers may experience minor traffic delays due to the incident.
