Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in NE Albuquerque Crash

Earlier this evening, officers from the Albuquerque Police Department responded to a collision involving a motorcyclist near Seagull Ln NE and Academy Rd NE. The motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries and was transported to the University of New Mexico Hospital.

Due to the severity of the motorcyclist’s injuries, APD’s Fatal Crash Team is taking over the investigation. APD’s PIO Officer Chase Jewell says “an update will be provided at a later time.”

Drivers may see closures on Academy at Seagull Ln NE. Additional closures are possible as the investigation continues.
