The Albuquerque Police Department sent an e-mail saying APD detectives are investigating a deadly, overnight shooting in Downtown Albuquerque.

Officers in the Valley Area Command responded shortly before 4 a.m. to a report of a man who had been shot. The victim, an adult male, was located in the area of 4th St. and Tijeras Ave., N.W.
The man was determined to be deceased at the scene. The investigation is on-going.
