On January 19th, 2025, at approximately 4:07 PM, a fatal hit-and-run collision occurred at 3524 Kathryn Ave SE. A White Dodge Ram 1500 bearing Mexico License Plate (EE-8396-A) fatally struck a bicyclist and fled the scene. We reported on this fatal crash shortly after the APD and AFR responded.
Officers from APD’s Southeast Area Command Field located the vehicle the following morning around 3:00 AM. While the truck has been located by police; the driver is still outstanding. If you have any information regarding the potential driver of the Dodge RAM, please contact Crime Stoppers.
