Albuquerque –
On February 21st, 2024, the U.S. Marshals and the Albuquerque Police Department apprehended Treyjan Felipe, 24. Earlier today, police found Treyjan after investigating an anonymous tip advising of sexual misconduct with a student athlete at Sandia Preparatory School.
According to the criminal complaint, Felipe was a track coach for the victim and he started to engage in conversations with her on SnapChat. An anonymous tip came from a program called “Say Something Anonymous Reporting System” from Sandia Preparatory School student. The tip said a coach was sending penis photos and videos.
The complaint says, APD met with Sandia Prep officials and notified them of the investigation. They put Felipe on administration leave and removed him from their campus.
The complaint says Felipe sent a few messages:
“I’d kill for you to moan my name.”
“Just let me give you good dick.”
“I’d rather fuck you”
“Why can’t you get it now and then later, and..”
“No one’s finding out about this right?”
APD spoke with Felipe, and he admitted that while watching the University of New Mexico Lobos play the Colorado State basketball game at a local bar, he received messages from the student. He said she kept egging him on. Later that night, he decided to send videos and photos of his penis to the student.
The complaint did not say if he did the photo and video production of his sexual acts at the local bar or went home to perform them.
Felipe is being charged with the following:
- Criminal Sexual Communication with a Child
- Criminal Solicitation by Electronic Communication Device
- Bribery or Intimidation of a Witness
If convicted, he could spend three years in prison. It will be plenty of time to coach a new type of track team within the prison walls.
In an unrelated case, but related to Albuquerque news, Felipe was also recently charged with DWI by APD and was arrested by Officer Honorio Alba. Felipe’s case was one of the nearly 200 cases dismissed by the DA’s office because of the pending federal investigation by the FBI.
