Albuquerque –
The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred just before 6:55 PM in the 1600 block of Airway Rd. SW, near the intersection of Sunset Rd. SW and Airway Rd. SW.
One person sustained at least one gunshot wound and was taken to a local hospital, reportedly in critical condition.
The suspect fled the scene, and BCSO deputies are currently searching for them.
Airway Rd. is currently blocked off from Sunset Rd. SW to 5 Points Pl. SW as deputies continue their investigation.
