Just before 10:10 PM, officers with the Albuquerque Police Department and crews from Albuquerque Fire Rescue were dispatched to the area of Tramway Blvd NE and Candelaria Rd NE for a reported motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.

Albuquerque Fire Rescue transported one person to a local area hospital.

APD’s sworn PIO, Detective Chase Jewell, said the pedestrian sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is currently in stable condition.

Currently, Tramway Blvd is currently closed between Menaul Blvd NE and Comanche Rd as officers work the scene. As of this publication, the accident has not been classified as an APD’s Motor Unit call-out, according to Detective Jewell.
