Albuquerque –
Detectives from the Albuquerque Police Department have now charged a second suspect, Thomas Acee, with the fatal shooting of a 13-year-old boy south of Downtown this summer. Acee was apprehended this evening.
Acee, aged 21, faces an open count of murder and several other offenses related to the fatal shooting on August 18, 2024, in the vicinity of 5th St SW and Gold Avenue SW. The victim, 13-year-old Michael Tubb, was struck by gunfire and died from his injuries. A female teenager was also struck in the leg by gunfire but survived.
Acee is no stranger to felony activity in the metro. Acee was accused of shooting up the Alvarado Square building and causing massive damage to it and another shooting at an apartment. He had a trial and was not convicted on those charges. In 2024, Acee was charged with a DWI, leaving the scene of an accident, and negligent use of a deadly weapon. Those charges were dismissed because the State failed to provide discovery.

In October of this year, detectives arrested Michael Flores, 22, for the murder of Tubb after tracking down the vehicle he was driving during the incident.
Through their investigation, detectives determined that Acee was present with Flores on the night of the shooting. Acee is accused of firing several rounds at the vehicle in which the victims were passengers. Acee also was linked to an apartment shooting in 2022 that left a few wounded. Acee is the son of FBI Special Agent Bryan Acee. The elder Acee has worked on and testified in many high-profile cases.
Homicide detectives obtained a warrant today, charging Acee with an open count of murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, shooting at or from a motor vehicle resulting in great bodily harm, nine counts of tampering with evidence on an open count of murder, nine counts of conspiracy to commit tampering with evidence on an open count of murder, and two counts of attempted felony murder.

I noted in this state, nobody wants any kind of discipline or hold anyone accountable for anything. Being that the education standard is dead last in the Union, college students can barely read above 3rd grade. It’s almost as if most males have or suffer from some kind of retardation, or all have been enabled- being told anything they do is because of ADHD.
If you try to teach a child, manners- such as please or thank you, or right or wrong a parent- usually a mother, will all parrot “They have ADHD…” Or “Don’t scold Mijo.” Many demand you some how teach them, but allow them to do what they want with kid gloves. They become useless and react to doing what ever they want, because they are told they have a learning disability, yet some high highly gifted and functional. No self control, but allowed to drive. You see the boys grow up to be useless man children, more of the same, but used to getting away with what every they want- and many women will yalp, “It’s cultural….” It’s the 8th wonder of the world trying to figure out how women with sometimes two jobs, support useless adult males, who won’t work, in debt, drug problems, and repeat felons.
You see these criminals and repeat felons, have zero remorse, or any responsibility for anything, and the parents demand dems be in charge, so their “Mijo” doesn’t have to go to jail or prison. Many of the crazy women are the same, because they know they can act out, and not be held accountable. No self control what so ever, act out on emotion and impulse without thinking about anything. The state’s solution is to make more excuses and demand more money to enable.
Thank you! particularly the last sentence.
Looks like he got off twice. Who wants to bet for a 3rd?
Another product of Covid lock downs. This punk was probably a senior in highschool when Covid hit and was sent home and left to his own devices. Plenty of time to hone his mad skills. Dad must be so proud.
